Websites don’t just maintain themselves. Maintenance is something that many businesses forget to budget, often because they think that they can do it themselves. But the first time you delete your entire home page by mistake and lose eight hours of sales while you’re trying to get it back up and running, you’ll wish you’d spent the extra money on a maintenance plan.

Basic Plan
This plan is the lowest in monthly-costs but it offers the basics of what a website needs to run sufficiently. The plan includes a 1 hour retainer for content edits and content updates per month (saves you $50/month). When you need something done, a cost/time estimate will be given. Anything beyond the 1 hour will be offered at $80/hr rate rather than the full $150/hr rate.
Standard Plan
This plan offers the a great value. The plan includes a 3 hour retainer for content edits, updates, improvements, or content creation per month (saves you $210/month). When you need something done, a cost/time estimate will be given. Anything beyond the 3 hours will be offered at $80/hr rate rather than the full $150/hr rate. This plan also includes quarterly website traffic reports.
Premium Plan
This plan has all the bells and whistles and is like having a webmaster on your team. The plan includes 8 hours for content edits, updates, improvements, or content creation per month (saves you $560/month). When you need something done, a cost/time estimate will be given. Anything beyond the 8 hours will be offered at $80/hr rate rather than the full $150/hr rate. This plan also includes monthly detailed reports, broken-link scans, and 3 additional hours for graphic design services (value of $450 for a combined total of $1000 in savings).

If you do not have the funds to hire and pay a website manager, as well as afford their employee benefits, I can strategically come alongside you and effectively maintain your website at a cost that is tailored to your budget. Here are four reasons to have a website maintenance plan.
It's Convenient.
Even if you have all the access you need to update your own website, it is still easier and faster to send your change requests to me, and I’ll take care of it all for you. You can then focus on the things you want to focus on!
It's Reliable.
I am always here. Within two business days, at a minimum, your content updates will be completed. Most of the time it will be completed within a couple of hours. Anytime you need something updated or changed, a timeline will be given so you are not hiting refresh, waiting for your changes.
It's Affordable.
Unless you are a large-sized business, you don’t need to worry about hiring a full-time webmaster with their salary and benefits. As a small business or non-profit organization, you don’t need to pay that much. I offer the same service at a price that is designed to fit your budget and your needs.
It's Simple.
My website maintenance plans cover all of the back-end, technical, security-related aspects of running a website. I regularly update your plug-ins and themes. I also make regular back-ups of your site, I run regular security scans so I’d know if your site is under attack, I optimize your website database performance, and remove spam comments if they show up.
What if You Have No
Website Maintenance Plan?
I am still available to help with updating content or adding new content. However, I charge $80/hr. I will give you a cost/time estimate, and you’ll see the changes completed within a reasonable timeline. Please note that there will always be a minimum half-hour charge for any update request.

Quick Turn-Around Service
I offer quick turn-around service. You have an edit that needs to be made, or the website needs to be fixed, I will fix it within one business day. Whether you need assistance by email, phone, I am here to help; and you’ll never be transferred to an overseas tech call centre.
Content Management System
I provide all our websites with a CMS (content management system). A CMS makes editing and adding content to your website a breeze, so someone on your staff or you yourself can do it. This allows me to handle the more complicated tasks, and it allows you control over your own site.
Regular Updates and Security
Websites are built on applications that need to be updated on a regular basis. The developers of these applications and plugins release updates often to add features and plug security risks that could leave your site vulnerable to hackers and malware. I take care of all this for you.
Lower Rates with a Plan
When you are on a maintenance plan, any updates, content changes, or content additions you want that goes above the amount specified on the plan (e.g. 1 hr/month on the Basic Plan), is given at $60/hr rather than the full $80/hr. So you’ll save $20/hr, and I extend this to redesign projects as well.
CANADIAN, LOCALLY OWNED SERVERS
I have my clients’ websites hosted and maintained on super-fast, locally owned, Canadian servers! You don’t have to worry about server issues, downtimes, or customer service holdups. I keep a close eye on your website to ensure optimal performance. Hosting here in Canada allows for greater security and privacy rights, which are protected under Canadian law.
Free Website & Data Migration
Want to switch from your current host but don’t know where to start – I will take care of everything for you, including the cost.
Regular Updates and Security Checks
I monitor and update your website on a regular basis to ensure that everything is up-to-date and secure.

Additional Features

Training on the CMS
Training for using the Content Management System (CMS) is available at an additional cost. This training is available for yourself, your employees or your volunteers.
Website Traffic Reports
Receive regular reports on the performance of your website. These reports highlight how users are using your site, where they are going, which pages are working, which are not.
Improvements and Enhancements
I provide additional features such as photo galleries, email sign-ups, interactive forms, social media feeds, e-commerce and a variety of others to improve your website’s effectiveness.
New Content and Updates
I get that it can be a challenge to manage regular website content updates when you’re immersed in the day-to-day running of your business. I assist by being your go-to solution for updating and even writing website content.
